We’ve all heard about Shanna Moakler’s recent “divorce party” in Vegas last week, her way to celebrate the end of Travis Barker, and a new beginning for her single life.
According to People, Moakler said about her party:
“I’m really doing it … to have closure and celebrate being single again and start a new chapter in my life. I don’t have any regrets about doing it. At the end of the day, this isn’t the worst thing in my life. People go through it every day. This is how I’m showing the world that divorce is okay. It doesn’t have to be the end of your life.”Â
I was pretty much agreeing with everything she was saying until she said “divorce is okay.” Great - just perpetuating the stereotype that all Hollywood marriages WILL end in divorce. Thanks, Shanna, for confirming everything we had ever doubted.
