If you thought finding peculiar animal meat on Asian or some other exotic culture’s menu like eels, frogs, crickets was gross, you haven’t seen nuttin’. There’s a new specialty restaurant in Beijing that specializes in cooking…animal penises.

And just what animals are getting their penises sliced, dipped in flour, deep fried, skewered, and served with soy sauce? For starters: horses, dogs, goats, yaks, donkeys, oxen, and even seals.

A trained waitress told The Telegraph that “The clients were mainly men eager to improve their yang, or virility. Women could benefit, too, but I wouldn’t recommend the testicles. The testosterone might interfere in fertility.”

This already sends chills up my spine. I thought seeing skinned dogs in those BBQ displays on the side of the streets of Vietnam was bad, but China definitely raised the bar in the department of “gross animal meat.”
