You know what’s so ironic about that “Embrace the Mystery” shirt she’s wearing? The real mystery here is HOW she ever became a supermodel, with scary faces as these. *shivers*. She should just “retire” as anything, really, because she is now the most annoying host that ever lived - right up there with Oprah.
OK OK, did I say “annoying”? I meant stupid. I mean, just ‘listen’ to her little monologue from her show premiere, where she managed to pile up a million topics all in one show:
You guys, on my show, self image is really important to me. We’re going to be talking about women’s self image. And we’re gonna have fun. We’re gonna have your favorite celebrities on here talkin’ about their projects and I’ma be askin’ ‘em personal stuff, too. Not just, you know, work stuff. And, of course, I’ve been a model for a long time, so we’re gonna do some makeovers and have fashion like you have never seen before on daytime, ’cause that is my specialty. And of course, you guys, for all the women, we’re gonna have a lot of stuff about relationships, ’cause, child, I been cheated on, I been lied to, I been a snooper lookin’ through his drawers like, “I know you cheatin’.” So we’re going to be doing a lot of shows like that, too.
Geez! Insanity does have its ranting moments. Really, you don’t say? Any guy would cheat on you just for being friggin’ annoying, self-centered, thinking everything’s about you. The first few times I actually watched her lame show, she never neglected to mention herself as a “former supermodel.” So if I had a makeover like she mentioned, I could be a supermodel too! If you already retired as a ‘model’, do something else meaningful instead of revolving everything around you and taking every chance you can get to show yourself off.
I think she looks so much better now compared to the way she looked when she was a young model. Anyone else besides me suspects that she had jaw implants to make her face fuller???
i agree with you linsey. it’s hollywood, anything is possible. no actress looks natural anymore; they all musta gone under the knife at some point in their life.
I think that Tyra is gorgeous and I happen to enjoy her talk show. Why do so many people feel the need to slag her? Whoever wrote this blog really seems to dislike Miss Banks. I dunno…I think Tyra is a really talented woman who seems kind hearted and funny.
I agree with Jen. I think she is really helping women understand that the entire model industry is based on altering reality. She is human with flaws just like us. It is refreshing to see someone be so open and honest about it. She is beautiful, inside and out.
The best thing about Tyra I really admire is her strengths. Who dares wipe off their make up on air, or show their body imperfections in front of millions of viewers? Tyra Banks. She is doing this to prove no one is perfect and to uplift those who have felt unworthy because of how they look. And I don’t see any reason why would someone ever say something so horrible about her, when she, tries and help encourage people of their inner beauty. I am so sorry you could not see the real Tyra Banks. And to Tyra, Go’ Head Girl Fierce em out!!

Tyra is very opinionated. Some people may be taken aback by her strong personality an I-say-it-without-any filter attitude but she makes a lot of sense.
