OK, I may be the only naive person who actually thinks Black Friday is a goldmine day, but I am furious about what happened on this chaotic day, particularly at CompUSA and Best Buy.
This was actually my first time participating, and since I’ve been eyeing a laptop for a while, I thought I’d go see what the fuss about Black Friday is all about. So when I saw this great deal on an HP notebook for $359.99, I had to go take a look. At 4am I was among the first 10 people in line in front of CompUSA. They finally opened at 5. There was a guy in front of me who was looking at the same notebook I was. So we went straight to the laptop section only to find out it was sold out. Well, we expected that to happen. But what we did not know was that they sold the very last HP Notebook with that deal last week! I didn’t know that until that guy informed me. That was why I saw him arguing with some employees there. I was curious what was going on but I didn’t ask until later - and that was when he told me what happened. I was pissed! How can they do that? Sell the last item one week before the Black Friday deal begins. It’s wrong, and it’s a conspiracy to get people to come in their store.
Then I headed over to Best Buy to meet up with my cousins. We got our hands on several tickets for that same HP notebook which cost a little more, like around $549. But when we got to the register, the guy said they didn’t have any more. We were like WTF? If things are sold out, pull the cards off the shelves instead of letting us wait in line!! Damn you, Best Buy!
I am boycotting both of these stores for dishonesty, false advertisement, and conspiracy. Don’t shop there!

i used to work at best buy. worst. employer. ever. Don’t EVER work there! TRUST ME!!
