Lane Garrison is in Big Trouble

Lane Garrison in Fatal Car Crash | niquehappy.comLane Garrison, former Prison Break star who played ‘Tweener’, is under investigation for possible drunk driving that caused one teenager’s death. TMZ reports that he had hired a powerhouse attorney, Harland Braun, who, like a good lawyer, is coming up with all kinds of excuses for the accident:

Garrison went to the party and had one drink…He also had one margarita at a Mexican restaurant that night, but that was the extent of his alcohol consumption…As Garrison was leaving the party to meet a woman at his apartment, the three teens asked to accompany him…He has no recollection of the accident, which Braun says rendered him unconscious…Braun says he doubts Garrison was intoxicated, but also says, “Who knows if someone put something in his drink at the party.” Braun also says Garrison’s Land Rover had been experiencing alignment issues as of late and had been pulling to one side, and added that the SUV had brake problems. Braun says he is forwarding repair receipts to the police.

First of all, what the heck was he doing hanging out with a bunch of teenagers he had never met before? Geez. This guy has been in an accident once outside of Club Hyde but that was nothing compared to this. He was pretty much a nobody until Prison Break put him on the map so if you were smart, you’d try to stay low-pro and hope to catch another big break, not jailtime. Earlier this year he told People about his youth days when he would get in trouble for stealing stuff. I assume that’s the reason he got the PB role as a thief who stole a baseball card but little did he know, it was worth like a lot of money so he was put in jail for grand larceny. Hmm, how ironic.
