TMZ reports that Tina Simpson, Jessica’s mom, got pissed off over Jessica’s recent screwup at the Kennedy Honors Center flubbing Dolly Parton’s song that she gave her a verbal smackdown:
Tina told her daughter that the performance was “embarrassing” and “unprofessional,” and mom was further incensed because Jessica had missed a dress rehearsal and hadn’t adequately learned lyrics to the song — which necessitated cue cards at the front of the stage. Jessica can be clearly seen reading from the cards during her performance.
This was probably the best parenting job Jessica’s mom has ever done. Of course, the perverted father jumped in and said it was cute how Jessica ran off stage and that she didn’t need a reshoot without the audience. Of course it was “cute” because throughout the whole “performance” all she did was clutch her stomach, try to hold up her dress, and read the cue cards while pretending to sing. Then when she realized she screwed up big, she tried to prance off stage like a little girl excited because the ice cream truck just came. Yeah, real cute.
