J-Lo appeared at the Berlin International Film Festival to promote her new movie, Bordertown. Apparently, people don’t really like her as much as she thinks. Instead of cheers and applauses, her movie was greeted with boos.

[It’s] an indie movie about a series of murders of young women in the Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez. The Berliner Zeitung says the film is “funny, but unintentionally” reporting that viewers at the press screening had reacted with “frenetic laughter” at supposedly serious scenes. However the film is also “pretty distasteful” at the same time: the critic accuses J-Lo of exploiting the real suffering of the Mexican women in order to become a star in the Central American market. “It’s no coincidence that the film is coming out at the same time as her new record, the first where she sings entirely in Spanish,” the paper writes.

It’s good to see J-Ho following Parasite Hilton’s footsteps in the area of “getting booed and trashed by ‘fans’”. This might be a good sign and a good reason why J-Lo should just stick to what she does best: wearing revealing clothes to make her her gigantic ass show. Well, either that or just go back to backup dancing, possibly for K-Fed. Besides, it’s understandable what they’re saying. She totally became famous for playing the role of Selena, a dead singer. So you can see her pattern of becoming popular. I hope this a sign for early retirement!
