Avril Lavigne is speaking out for the first time about her marriage to Sum 41 frontman, Deryck Whibley, in an interview with Jane magazine for its April issue.

Yeah, that was pretty much it. The most insightful revelation you’ve ever heard. Maybe that’s because we’ve seen it all, the countless times she and her husband spit at the paparazzi because apparently she thinks it’s “funny.”
I don’t know what the big deal was, because I’ve been spitting at paparazzi the past two years I’ve lived in L.A.,” she says. “It was funny. But I think if Britney had had no underwear on that week, my spitting thing wouldn’t have been talked about.
So for two years she’s become a paparazzi-spitting professional. Of course, you know I can totally identify with that, because I spit at anyone with a camera taking my pictures all the time. No big deal.
