During a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a country music radio station DJ said Carrie Underwood was nothing but a rude and arrogant snot. In an email to her friend, the DJ highlighted the event in detail:
So I get to Carrie’s booth, and I remain like a radio professional, not like a crazed fan… and I say something like, “Oh Hi Carrie, I’m Jane from the (radio station) morning show… Thanks so much for doing this, blah, blah, blah”. She mutters something back, rips the liner sheet out of my hand, and looks up like she has something better to do, and says, “Ready?” So I get my recorder turned on, and now I’m pissed. So I snap, “Whenever you are”. She reads the liners through (not shitty, but not with much emphasis, and it’s like you know, you are trying to encourage people to call in and donate money for these dying children…could you maybe pretend to be a little heartfelt??) She gets done reading the liners…LOOKS PAST ME up to the next person from a station also from Wisconsin and says, “Next.”
This DJ wasn’t the only one feeling Carrie’s snottiness. Another Memphis radio station DJ also met Carrie and shared her experience:
Here [I] was in the elevator the night before with Carrie in the hotel that we all stayed in and so we are riding up and I said to Carrie: “Hey Carrie, yeah, we’re playing your new song (which at this time was Don’t Forget To…) and I really hope it goes #1 for you…blah, blah, blah” (And mind you now, our station in Minnesota is like BIG MARKET radio) So, the little snot that she is, turns (and again, no thanks for playing it…no thanks for helping to make my 1st song do so well….no…) and says, “It already IS #1” and turns her back to again stare at the elevator buttons. Well, well, well… you little hoity toity beotch!
Why am I not surprised that someone who won the American Idol title and some country music award has let the fame go through her head. Radios can stop playing her stupid songs altogether just because they can and she can go back to being the nobody that she was.

I dont believe this, it sounds like a lie. Carrie I do not believe is that rude. She seems like a kind hearted woman. I believe you all just are jealous and make her want to look bad. So please stop talking bad about her, because I heard that she is a kind person. Not a mean self centered one.
I don’t believe thats true. From what I understand Carrie is a nice person. She’s really popular, but I don’t think that she would be rude when it comes to children. She really doesn’t seem like the type that would be all rude when it comes to an interview unless you did something to her to make her mad. If you would please not talk about her like she is a dog that would be nice. Think about it. How would you like if someone was talking bad about you? Really I don’t think that you would appreciate it. Yes Carrie is a star, but who said that it means that she’s a rude person. So yes people, put yourself in her position right now and see how it would feel. I imagine that she doesn’t like to see this stuff posted online about her, even if it was or wasn’t true. So think about something before you do it, People do get payback and its not fun!!!!
