According to TMZ, a law suit was filed against Beyonce yesterday in Manhattan Federal Court alleging that she stole music from Des’ree.
In the lawsuit, Des’ree and her reps claim that BeyoncĂ©, along with her record company people, originally tried to work out a deal to use the song. When they weren’t satisfied with the proposed terms — which included not being able to change the title or make a music video for the song — BeyoncĂ© allegedly blew off copyright law completely, and recorded the song and video without permission. The song was eventually released on BeyoncĂ©’s album, “B’Day - Deluxe Edition” on April 3, 2007, with the title “Still in Love (Kissing You).
It’s bad enough you have fake hair; but now even your music is stolen from someone else’s stuff. So much for trying to maintain that reputation for having “originality” in music and style.

I watched Beyonce on 106 n Park say she wrote the song Irreplacable. She was debuting her medley of videos. She did not mention anything about Neyo. It was only when people started talking that she started giving Neyo props. There is nothing original about her. She takes bits, pieces, and sometimes chunks from other artists songs, videos, style, . We all know Britney takes from Janet and Madonna. But Beyonce takes from, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Britney, Shakira, Mariah, Kylie, Victoria Beckham, then less popular artist like Des’ree. Where is her own identity except for booty shaken. She is just an example of great marketing.
