Angelina Jolie has lied announced that she will be taking a year off from working in order to devote time to her family and kids.
I’m working this summer. I’m in Prague for a few months, then I take two months off, then I work for two months. And then I take a year off.
Jolie has been criticized that she manipulates the media for personal gains. She was said to “lead a double life” in a recent US Magazine article. I mean, the last time she said she would stay home with her kids so that she could adopt Pax, she took on all these summer projects she just mentioned above.
I mean, seriously - Did she really need to make more movies after adopting all these kids? Does she need any more money than what she already has? And with Brad’s money? More than plenty to allow her to stay home and nurture the children she says she loves so much.
She obviously wants to stay in the spotlight and use the media to get what she wants. 4 kids later, she’s only now saying she’s going to take a year off? She undeniably broke all her previous promises to be an at-home mom. Let’s just wait and see what new work comes up for her during this so-called “year” that she’s taking off.

this crazy psychotic woman IS obviously manipulative. everyone knows she’s a crazy psychobitch that did crazy sh*t in the past. she’s now trying to make herself look good again. i don’t buy her sh*t at all. she’s just another hollywood attention whore, or she would’ve made her decision to be a stay at home mom LONG BEFORE, not NOW.
yes angelina does use the media to get messages accross… i mean how many of us knew about all the poverty and horrible things going on in other parts of the world? sure we knew about it but not as deep as she has brought out. she kinda does what john lennon and yoko use to do….fine snap our picture but its mostly around charity events and rottoning villages that needs help. all the attention she is getting look at where its at charitiey events. its not so she looks like a good person its so we see whats going on. im more educated on these things than i was a couple years ago thats for sure, and its cause all the stuff people say about her. i think its great what she does for the people in africa and cambodia,who cares what she does in her personal life as far as who she sleeps with, she does help out alot of people and thats what we some people are forgetting…now if we could get more celebrities to help with charities instead of blowing all their money on another home or two
Of course, once again the media and stupid websites make up all these lies about celebrities and make them look bad and of course, gullible people believe its true. NOBODY, especially not US magazine, knows Angelina that much to get into her thoughts and tell people what her motivation behind her actions are. I hope the person who wrote that story in US magazine gets fired and ends up working at McDonalds. Angelina Jolie is a great mother and a great actress and she definitely is doing more for this world than any other celeb I know who just sits around in their expensive homes and throws money around like its nothing while there are starving children around the world. I have more respect for her than any other actress right now!!
NO, she doesn’t need any more money, but she is extremely greedy and an attention whore. One hypocritical, selfish, manipulative liar - and she has had a lot of work done not only to her face although she would never admit.
