Just as I predicted, Jordin Sparks won American Idol. She’s always been the better singer than the beat-boxing Blake Lewis. He’s just a good performer, but voice-wise, it was an obvious choice. I would’ve much preferred Melinda Doolittle but I guess Jordin Sparks will do. Bleh, they both will make millions. I mean, look at how well Chris Daughtry and Katharine McPhee did and they were only in the top 12 - and possibly making more money than Taylor Hicks himself.
