Jessica Alba tells Parade magazine, which comes out June 3, that she hates the “lame” paparazzi, and that she’d rather have people judge her for who she is and not some pap photos.
On the paparazzi:
I could give two sh*ts about them. They’re so lame, I can’t even believe that’s a real job. I can’t imagine they even pay taxes.
On the media:
I never want to be in the papers except when I’m promoting a movie, but if they have to, they’ll make up lies about me just to have something newsworthy to say. The more controversial the story is, the more buzz it can get, and the more it’ll sell.
I’m so sick of big celebrities making statements like these. Seriously? You don’t want to be in the papers? The fact that she’s doing this interview for “the papers” speaks for itself. So yeah, I don’t buy it. The day that the papers don’t print something about you and forget about you is the day you should worry - is the day your career is probably over and you should start hunting down the paparazzi so they can take a picture of you even on your worst day. And she wishes she were invisible? She wouldn’t be where she is now being invisible now would she? Celebs can be ungrateful for the good things that happened for them. Now they’re all “Ohh I don’t want any more attention.” Well that’s the price for fame and fortune. Everything has a price. Suck it up.

I think Jessica Alba is right. The paparazzi shouldn’t even be a job, its retarded would you like people taking pictures of you constantly for the job you have, following you getting all your bad moments, and then putting it in a world wide magazine. And she looks fine in the picture.
