If you remember, Mary-Kate Olsen’s fashion sense has been a bit, um, questionable lately - all that scary Halloween stuff she put on that would end up making her look like some ragged old bag lady, or a witch about to eat you. But surprisingly, she looks like this on the cover of this new issue of You magazine. I must admit - it’s a little refreshing. I find very little reason to not like the Olsen twins - except maybe just their otherwise hideous fashion sense. But at least they’re considered businesswomen and not partying and getting busted for DUI like .. some people.

As for her interview:

On being a trendsetter:

It’s nice to be recognized for my fashion, but I don’t consider myself a trendsetter. I just try to have fun with fashion and dress to fit my mood.

On her business savvy:

I was six years old when our company Dualstar was created. Now I go to the office every week, attend staff meetings and I’m always on the phone dealing with work matters. I’m a perfectionist and I enjoy the creative things and the details, whereas Ashley tends to think more in terms of the ‘bigger picture.’ We are great business partners, as we balance each other out.
