TMZ reports that this so-called “medical conditions” reason for Paris Hilton being released from jail was purely “psychological” and not physical. Aparently, her psychiatrist said she was having a nervous breakdown and that was why they let her go. This was the same guy that recently said she was not mentally capable to testify in a lawsuit case against her.
Well, no sh*t. Where did she think she was going? Vacationing in Hawaii? Who wouldn’t have a nervous breakdown going to jail? This kinda crap only works if you’re filthy rich. I’m pretty sure if the other inmates had used this same excuse to try to get out of jail, their sentence would’ve been doubled just for lying.
UPDATE: The Sheriff Union has spoken up. The president of the Association of Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS) said that the sheriff Lee Baca has obviously given Paris special treatment. He said there is a facility that treats mental inmates so why should Paris be released for the similar problems, and that release should not have been the first option. Well, this guy sounds legit and all, but at this point, you don’t really know who to trust.
