According to TMZ, after spending 3 days in jail, Paris Hilton has been released due to “medical conditions.” She will now be “confined” to her home for 40 days (her original 45-day sentence) and wearing the confinement ankle bracelet. Oh, but that doesn’t mean she can’t step outside - she can go as far as 4000-5000 ft radius from her house. How’s that for Celebrity Justice!?

Right, because having her spend the next 40 days inside her mansion full of maids is the real punishment here. I’m sure her lawyers have told her to starve and dehydrate herself that she can appear to be sick so they can send her home. Watch, before you know it, she’ll wear the bracelet for like a day and they’ll take it off with the excuse that it doesn’t match her outfits. I’m sure you are as enraged as I am. I have lost complete hope in the “justice system.” This will only perpetuate the fact that rich people can get away with anything.
