Nicole Richie had finally come out to confirm with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America the obvious: that she is 4-month pregnant with Joel Madden.

Richie also talks about her upcoming jail time, what happened the night she was arrested and how she believes her actions have affected those girls who look up to her. “I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately, I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”

Is Diane Sawyer totally out of ideas for her show that she stooped to Nicole Richie’s level to bring this so-called “exclusive”? What did Nicole do that was so “grand”? She drove the wrong way on a freeway, smoked marijuana, took unprescribed Vicodin. How is this any kind of responsibility of being a role model? Diane Sawyer could interview a couple of chicken wings and ask them how they feel before being dropped in the deep fryer and she would still come out classier.
