All the hoo-hah’s over David Beckham coming to the LA Galaxy is nothing more than an overly publicized event and now all he does is sit around on his ass due to his ankle injury.
TMZ indicates that:
David Beckham – the L.A. Galaxy’s $50 million man — has played a grand total of 18 out of 270 minutes in his first two official games in the MLS, and it looks like his debut in the U.S.’ biggest market – New York – might be a big dud as well. Becks’ gimpy left ankle “swelled up” on the flight out east, says the Daily News, which is why he sat out last night’s match against the New England Revolution. But the 50,000 New York fans who have bought tickets for the Galaxy’s match this Saturday might have an unpleasant surprise in store if that ankle doesn’t heal up.
Overpaid, over-publicized, over-exploited. Funny how a soccer player is seen and pictured everywhere except for the soccer field. Homeboy is now just sitting at home, combing his hair - and his wife’s - and getting paid millions. I mean, that’s what my monkeys do all the time. I don’t see them getting paid millions. So I think the ad is wrong. He IS just a pretty face.

Instead of playing football, he seems playing with Makeup Heads.
However, in Euro 2008 he will be in Team again, hes better than Terry.
Whats really sad is,that people seem to forget that he is still a great Footballer, no matter how many Vogues he saves in his head.
