I refuse to believe this is actually Britney Spears on the cover of the September issue of Allure. What the hell have they done to her? It’s supposed to be a bald monkey with a tangled blond wig topped with a cabaret hat.

Britney showed up for Allure’s cover shoot on time and ready to work. She was entirely unselfconscious: She took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup. She was agreeable and cooperative on the shoot and left at the end of the day, followed by a trail of paparazzi. And that was the last we saw of her.

Wow, she didn’t run crazy, knocking down cameras, and cussing people off, but she got naked for no reason! Now, that sounds better.
