When we post Stars Without Makeup photos, our intention is NOT to make our female readers feel bad about themselves. In fact, it is quite the opposite. We’ve received comments and emails saying that most women don’t look good without makeup and that you certainly don’t look good without makeup, either. This isn’t the point at all. We’re not talking about “most people.” We’re not talking about “normal people.” And we’re definitely not talking about “you.” We are talking about celebrities.

If you’re the type of person who thinks all these celebrities are beautiful basing on pictures from magazines, TV, movies, etc, and you feel that you’re never going to be beautiful like them, then we are here to say that you should not feel this way at all. That is why we post these comparison photos to show you what stars really look like behind layers and layers of makeup and airbrushing. It’s simply a false sense beauty and reality and we can only trust that you are mature enough to differentiate between real and fake.

If you still think a certain female star still looks good naturally and want to comment on it, please, by all means. We just hope you don’t write negative comments and emails to attack us and our work just because you’re missing the point.
