Britney Spears’ Hair Quit, Too

Britney Spears' Hairdresser Quit, Too | niquehappy.com

Britney Spears wasn’t the only thing that quit trying at the VMA, her hair apparently did, too. Well, OK, not her hair per se, but the dude that was supposed to put her hair on her head did.

Before her now-notorious performance at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas, Britney Spears had a spat with celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves, PEOPLE reports in its latest issue, on newsstands Friday. Weeks before the awards show, “Britney had requested his two female assistants [to do her extensions] since she prefers women around her,” and was disappointed when Paves himself arrived, says a Spears source. The stylist soon left, taking his hair with him.

Ken Paves is the dude that also endorses his hair with Jessica Simpson. And the extensions he was going to put on her were used by Simpson at some point. So she basically refused to wear the production-prepared outfit, fought with her hairdresser, threw tantrums because people wanted her to rehearse. I think they all were just being a little too hard on her. I mean, all she wanted to do was eat the vending machine. C’mon now. Can’t a girl just eat a vending machine?

Her hair looks kinda Fraggle Rock, anyway. It reminds me of what Tina Fey said about Paris Hilton when she hosted SNL, that she was leaving her nasty Fraggle hair all over the place.

I wish Britney would have the balls to make due with her short hair and just ride with it. Punk it out, spike it up, add some funky bright red streaks… Enough with the damn wigs and extenstions already.
