Alicia Silverstone’s PETA Ad Offends People

Alicia Silverstone's PETA Ad Offends People | niquehappy.com

You didn’t think Alicia Silverstone’s racy naked ad for PETA would go unprotested, did you? Turns out, some people in Texas are majorly upset - people from Comcast Cable, that is.

People reports:

The actress shed her clothes for a PETA ad championing vegetarianism set to debut in Texas Wednesday, but Comcast Cable pulled the 30-second spots from the airwaves. In the commercial, Silverstone, 30, steps out of a swimming pool, unclothed and sharing the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle. PETA claims that Houston was chosen because it often ranks high on lists of cities with the worst eating habits. So why did Comcast pull the commercial? A spokesperson for the cable company cited nudity in their decision to cancel the campaign, though the clips had already been paid for.

I don’t know why they would pull the ad. First of all, they’ve already paid for it. Morons. Secondly, Alicia Silverstone looks nothing like in the ad. Is not eating meat supposed to give you flawless skin? Obviously not. If anything, the ad is too misleading. They should attach the other picture of hers (bottom) next to it and let the photos speak for themselves. And thirdly, what’s the big deal? Those Comcast people are probably over-the-hill idiots who can’t grasp the concept that vegetarians are all sexy and naked. They’re just so jealous that they have to cancel the ad, go home in shame, and bury their sorrows in big buckets of chicken.
