Paris Hilton was set to visit Rwanda and now she says she is scared. Surprise surprise.

Reality television star Paris Hilton has spoken about her upcoming humanitarian trip to Rwanda, saying that she is “scared” about the visit. The 26-year-old hotel heiress is making the trip after announcing that she planned to trade in her partying lifestyle to do charity work. Hilton said that she is now a changed person after serving a jail sentence for violating her probation in a drink-driving case. Speaking to Newsweek magazine, the television star said: “Before, my life was about having fun, going to parties - it was a fantasy. But when I had time to reflect, I felt empty inside. I want to leave a mark on the world.” Speaking about her proposed trip to Rwanda, she said: “I’m scared, yeah. I’ve heard it’s really dangerous. I’ve never been on a trip like this before.” Hilton is due to visit schools and health-care clinics in Rwanda during her trip.

I can see it now - that stupid airhead look on her face when people talk to her about Rwanda. She’ll go, “What? Isn’t that place where you can like, dance on tables naked and stuff? I heard they have like, these really big shopping malls and like, you can find gold bars in the bathrooms.”
