Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ mother, Geraldine “Geri” Meyers-O’Keeffe, 50, passed away at the Mercy University Hospital in Cork Tuesday morning after a short illness. That’s the third celebrity who has lost a mom this year - Angelina Jolie’s mom who died of cancer and Kanye West’s mom who died due to plastic surgery complications.
Jonathan was recently arrested at the Dublin Airport for “public drunkenness and breach of the peace” on Nov. 18.
He was in New York earlier this month to promote his new movie, August Rush with Keri Russell.
