Hmm, this is odd. Jessica Biel isn’t wearing any makeup in either one of these pictures. How does she do it? How is she able to look all magically, flawlessly, and naturally beautiful not wearing makeup in one picture, and then look like a flesh-eating zombie not wearing makeup in another picture? Well, maybe I’ve been a little harsh on saying how Jessica Biel looks nothing like she does in magazines and photoshoots. I mean, she had already stepped it up by posing for People magazine wearing absolutely no makeup whatsoever to prove some kind of point. Besides the use of airbrushing and touching-up and photography lighting, it was all her. All her, man!

OMG She looks sooooo UGLY….
You say: “Jessica Biel isn’t wearing any makeup. How is she able to look all magically, flawlessly, and naturally beautiful not wearing makeup in one picture, and then look like a flesh-eating zombie not wearing makeup in another picture?”
The same way that lighting, makeup, airbrushing and photoshop can transform a regular person with fairly good bone structure into a great beauty, bad lighting and the wrong photographic angle can make a pretty person look like a monster.
But your captions always sound as if you assume that the untouched photos are what these women really look like. It is impossible to know. Everyone, including you and me, has photos that make us look far worse than we really do.
This blog has a strange premise.
It could be a place where people can get a more realistic view of what women really look like (behind the media images) so that young girls don’t develop impossible standards that are correlated with high rates of eating disorders, dysmorphia, self-hate, obsessing about looks, etc. And the endless barrage of plastic images condition young men to not appreciate the “normal” women who are available as possible mates.
Why are you not blaming the marketing, advertising, and media companies that manipulate the public and perpetuate this fake, plastic and distorted view of attractiveness.
Instead, you are judgmental and extremely catty about anyone who doesn’t look perfect.
Celebrities ARE people with a range of human insecurities. Of course its fun to see someone who is arrogant put in their place, but its everyone’s fault that we put so much emphasis on fame and looks that it makes it impossible for “celebrities” to be normal and go out in the world and not constantly worry about being “caught” out of “image” and ridiculed. Gossip can be fun without being so vicious. Other cultures (like Australia, etc. have not yet reached the level of fame-obsession that is found in the U.S.
Your attitude adds to the narcissistic celebrity culture that likes to idolize and then crucify anyone who shows their vulnerability or clay feet.
so…why do you criticize these types of posts and not make comments on other posts where they talk “good” about celebrities? hypocritical much? everyone is good at critizing things others do, but neglect to “praise” the better things people do. this is jus a fun website — get over it. sheeshhh
Damn she’s downright ugly.
