Jake Gyllenhaal is doing a major career makeover by taking on the lead role of Prince Dastan in the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced movie adaptation of the video game, King of Persia: Sands of Time. Seriously? Jake? He looks like a pretty boy who will cry if you tell him his hair was combed to the wrong side. Couldn’t they have just picked Gerard Butler? I mean, Gerard has had experience dealing with Persians in 300! C’mon! Anyway, the movie is set to release in 2010. I’m not holding my breath.

Here’s more Jake and Reese (who I’m assuming flew to the set in Morocco because she can’t do Yoga without him):

    The name is PRINCE of Persia, not King. Gyllenhaal doesnt seem to fit the character :/
