Leighton Meester showed up at the Calvin Klein Celebrates Milestone 40th Anniversary on The High Line event in New York City. OK, I’ve decided she looks way better on Gossip Girl than in real life. Maybe it’s her monotone makeup that basically wiped any hint of color off her face. Anyway, I can’t wait for episode 2 tonight. I want to see what develops between her character, Blair Waldorf, and the guy she said was boring who turned out to be even better than ‘not boring’ because he’s British and a lord. And he’s HOT! How realistic is it for a rich NYC snob to meet a lord? Geez! Knowing Blair, she’ll eventually show her true colors by using Lord Marcus, aka “James” to rank herself above all (like she hasn’t already?)
